3.10 What supplies and requirements are needed to complete my BAT mock test?

The following items are required to complete your BAT mock test:

  • A DOT-Approved Evidential Breath Tester (EBT)

  • 10 Alcohol Testing Forms (ATFs - 7 required for mock)

  • 10 Mouthpieces

  • Mouthwash with alcohol (to rinse with to achieve positive result for mock test situations)

  • Printer (for breathalyzer results)

  • 2 ballpoint pens (blue or black is accepted)

  • Collector identification (to identify yourself to the donor)

  • Gas cylinder with regulator

  • Tamper-evident tape
